After his clerkship with the Honorable William W. Vogel in the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas and serving as Assistant District Attorney in Montgomery County, Mike Furey entered the private practice of law in 1986. He has appeared before the Pennsylvania County Courts of Common Pleas and the Pennsylvania Superior Court. Mike has briefed and argued a number of zoning cases before the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court. He also litigates construction law cases before the American Arbitration Association. Mike has served as solicitor and special counsel to various municipal boards in Montgomery County. He currently serves as Solicitor to the West Norriton Township Zoning Hearing Board, as he has for the last eighteen years. He also serves as Solicitor to the Whitemarsh Township Zoning Hearing Board, an appointment he has held for the past three years.
